Here at Wido, we’re always looking for ways and opportunities to get outside and spend some quality time in our gardens. Whether the sun is beaming down on us or we can still feel the frost coming through into Spring, regardless of if it’s only a 10-minute stint or a few hours, we love to get our fresh air fix.

Maybe we’re throwing a friends and family BBQ, playing with our little ones, digging up some weeds or relaxing with our book – nothing beats being outside and sitting amongst nature and you could definitely say that we know how to make the most of our time outside.

With all this in mind, it’s so important to us that both we and any guests we’re inviting to share some time with us feel comfortable and cosy when spending time in our gardens. This is why our choice of outdoor seating is important – and we like to make things easy for our customers so we’ve put together some of our top ideas to get you seated in style.

So whether you’re looking for something fun or sophisticated, something collapsible or more permanent, we’re here with our favourite options for you to add some style to your garden and make both you and your guests feel right at home.

  • Al Fresco Dining – There really is a special type of happiness that is associated with eating outside and being surrounded by your favourite people. Whether you’re hosting a garden dinner party or enjoying the rays and cooking up a feast on a BBQ, you want your guests to feel comfortable enough to relax and unwind. You can create a comfortable yet affordable arrangement for you and your guests with a wooden Table & Chairs Set. With the addition of cushioned seat covers, our hardwood garden furniture will stand the test of time, making it an investment for all your garden dining needs.
  • Hanging Around – Space is never often an issue at Wido as we aim to help you make the most out of what you have. Some of us are blessed with luscious lawns whilst others find their little bit of peace is on the balcony of their apartment building. No matter the size, it’s all about how you utilise it and create something that works for you. If you’re somewhat tight for space and you need to be smart with your outdoor seating, a hammock or hanging seat could be a fantastic option for you. Keep it in storage during the winter and bring it out, hook it up and enjoy a glass of wine outside on those summer evenings!
  • Lounge All Day – Let’s face it, in the UK, we have a handful of days a year that really make us want to top up our tan and relax amongst the sound of chirping birds or your Alexa on full blast. But alas, those days come and we often wish that we didn’t have to put a towel out on our grass and had something more comfortable to enjoy it with. This is where our Reclining Sun Chair Lounger really does come to the rescue. With a padded headrest and the ability to recline all the way back, be careful not to doze off in the sunshine with this comfy contraption!
  • Small Garden? No problem! – Having a small garden space is never an issue with Wido, as you can still make the most out of what you have. Whether you live in a townhouse with a small concreted garden or you simply don’t have the room because of your children’s swing set, all hope is not lost – there is still comfortable seating options for you! Foldaway Bistro Sets give you the flexibility of getting them out when you want with ease and offer you a small space to enjoy your garden with.

So there you have it, some seating ideas to suit all types of gardens and outdoor spaces. We’d love to know what your outdoor seating looks like so share them with us over on Instagram.
